The Paso Creek Cab was the last of the 3 wines I bought at the 5 cent wine sale. I guess it’s time to go back for more! This cab was definitely my favorite out of all 3. I drank this immediately after the Viligance wine and could taste a significate difference between the two. The Viligance is much more sweet and smooth. The Paso Creek was more of a “big boned body”….Thick, but not heavy. It had a nice dry, aged oak, cherry aftertaste.
While drinking this wine, I was eating a lot of Hershey’s Kisses and Hugs and chocolate tastes amazing with this wine. They compliment each other very well. Although, wine and chocolate always go well together now that I think of it… I ate so many, going back and forth between the two chocolates trying to figure out which taste I liked better with the wine, white or milk; I never really figured it out. Chocolate: white, mike, or dark with wine, is all amazing. I didn’t want it to end.
Sounds like you had a lot of fun trying to decide.
